Education and Advocacy

ABC chapters across the nation are committed to a well-trained, well-educated construction workforce.

WTCABC has operated a US Department of Labor approved apprenticeship program since 1987. Our program is certified to offer over 12 nationally certified programs through the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER), furthermore our specific program allows apprentices to complete 4 year programs in only 2 years. WTCABC is also a certified skills assessment center offering over 80 different construction based assessment tests through NCCER.

In addition to our apprenticeship program, the chapter's commitment to education extends to the management of our member companies. Through various management education seminars and short courses such as Blueprint Reading, Project Management, and Estimating course, the chapter strives to enhance the effectiveness of our members' management personnel.
